Context
The place where a product is developed is not always the place where it is manufactured. For a design that has matured in R&D to become a working product on the manufacturing floor, the design, materials, documentation and processes must be adapted to production conditions. The product must also pass the required tests before it reaches the market. In a field like Medium Voltage, where expectations for safety and reliability are very high, this transition is one of the most critical stages of the product lifecycle.
My Role
End-to-end integration lead and primary technical bridge between overseas technology teams and local stakeholders.
Approach
Managing the transition of R&D outputs to the manufacturing floor through structured technical documentation, cross-site coordination and process optimization.
Outcome
- 8+ customer-driven R&D project integrations delivered into Medium Voltage production.
- 20+ product type tests under IEC 62271.
- 5+ Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) studies.
